Mi Barrio - Sam Ozminkowski

My neighborhood is a beautiful, homey neighborhood in the heart of Granada. There aren't many big businesses, nor are there many tourist traps. There are a lot of small bars, restaurants and other stores. In addition, I live near some of the nicest plazas in the city. Plaza de la Trinidad is only two blocks from my house. It has beautiful trees and an amazing fountain.

This is a street that connects Plaza de la Trinidad to Plaza de los Lobos. It has a few small cafes and other shops. It is very small and has a very authentic Spanish feel to it.

The apartment complex in which I live overlooks the Plaza de Los Lobos (Plaza of the Wolves). The Plaza de los Lobos is a smaller plaza but it is still very beautiful. It has a large fountain which unfortunately was turned off when I had the opportunity to take a picture.

The street on which my apartment complex is located is called Calle Alonso Cano. It is a small street, and contains mostly residences. There is a small bar on the ground floor of my building (not pictured) and a veterinary office across the street with a very beautiful mural.

Below are two other plazas near my house. They are both very small, and I couldn't find signs with names for either of them. One has a small fountain which is quite pretty but unfortunately was also turned off when I walked by it.

Finally, at the edge of my neighborhood lies this building. I tried to find out what it is but unfortunately my Spanish isn't quite good enough for me to be able to read the sign in front of it. It seems to be some sort of government building. Either way, it is quite pretty and has a very nice garden in front of it.
